Risk Consulting and Advisory Services. We provide subject area expertise to individuals and organisations in the areas of Enterprise Risk Management, Asset Management, Risk Controls, and Strategic Risk Alignment.  


Customised course design services to meet specific business needs. Our experience extends to meeting the design and development needs of large multinational Oil & Gas companies, public sector entities such as the National Treasury, Eastern Cape Provincial Treasury, Department of Higher Education, and not-for-profit organisations. Course design and delivery strategy often includes the integration of face-to-face workshop delivery and online learning to access the benefits of blended delivery options.

Creating development pathways for risk managers and practitioners. The formal learning pathways for developing risk officers and risk managers is currently opaque. To address this need, SBA has developed a bespoke 2-year skills development programme starting with an introduction to management and establishing the basics of risk management, before concluding with an occupational certification as an Organisational Risk Practitioner.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Services. Recognition of prior learning is a flexible tool and cost-effective option for both individuals and organisations to recognise prior learning and current competency of staff. As such, RPL avoids replication of learning previously undertaken and accelerates learning outcomes towards a recognised award or qualification.
